Every seasonal event in Grow a Garden 2 creates the same basic problem: there are more interesting rewards than most players can afford to chase. Players collecting GAG 2 Pets need to decide whether their limited resources should go toward rare companions, useful farming tools, valuable seeds, or cosmetic rewards. Choosing correctly can make the difference between a productive event and a collection of items that barely changes your progression.

For GAG 2 Pets collectors, the Fall Harvest and Summer events are especially interesting because several rewards provide direct gameplay benefits. Kitsune has an exceptional mutation effect, Shadow Dragon improves earnings and points, and Scarecrow can protect valuable crops. At the same time, items such as Magic Mail can have an even broader impact because they help preserve event progress beyond the seasonal world.

Put Transfer Utility First

Magic Mail is arguably the most practical item in the Fall Harvest Event. Seasonal content is valuable because it offers exclusive crops and pets, but those rewards become much more useful when players can transfer them back to their primary garden.

Magic Mail provides that connection by allowing exclusive crops and pets to be shipped back to Garden Valley. Players who expect to spend a large amount of time in the Fall Harvest world should therefore prioritize it before most cosmetic purchases.

Legendary and Super Magic Mail are particularly important targets before the expected October 1, 2026 event closing date. Missing a decorative item is easy to accept, but losing the opportunity to preserve valuable seasonal rewards can be much more costly.

Check the Shop for the Harp

The Rare and Legendary Harp is another item worth grabbing when it becomes available. Using it can force five pets to spawn on the map, creating additional opportunities for players who are trying to build a stronger pet collection.

The possibility of receiving rare or Super variants makes the Harp even more attractive. Its limited stock means that players should not assume they will have another chance immediately.

For that reason, I would keep some event resources available instead of spending everything as soon as I entered the seasonal shop. Having enough currency ready for a Harp appearance can be more valuable than buying several lower-impact rewards earlier.

Chase Kitsune Without Losing Perspective

Kitsune is one of the most exciting event pets because it combines Secret rarity with an impressive 60x Shocker mutation multiplier. Its roaming behavior also allows it to raid unattended plots, giving it a distinctive role in the game.

However, its reported 1 in 1,000 Fall Chest drop rate makes it a difficult target. Players can spend enormous amounts of time chasing it without receiving one.

I would still consider Kitsune a maximum-priority reward, but not at the expense of every other objective. Continue collecting chests when possible while maintaining a useful farming routine.

Shadow Dragon Is a Stronger Practical Target

Shadow Dragon may be easier to build a strategy around because its 20x multiplier applies to earnings and points. That can directly support players trying to improve their event performance.

Its availability through the Cornucopia reward also gives players a clear path. Completing the pilgrim-themed event quests becomes worthwhile because the reward can have a significant effect on subsequent farming.

For players who prefer predictable progression over extremely rare drops, Shadow Dragon may be one of the best targets in the event.

Consider Defensive and Movement Bonuses

Jackaloupe provides a walking-speed boost that becomes more useful as gardens and event areas become larger. Faster movement may not look spectacular on a reward screen, but it can save considerable time across a long farming session.

Scarecrow provides a more specialized advantage. The Mythic pet can frighten an opposing player for one second and freeze them, potentially stopping an attempt to steal valuable crops.

This makes Scarecrow especially useful for players who regularly hold high-value harvests. It is a reminder that defensive abilities can protect profits just as effectively as income multipliers can create them.

Farm the Right Seeds

Atlantic Giant Pumpkin should be near the top of the seasonal farming list because it can grow to enormous sizes and sell for billions of shekels. The catch is that standard sprinklers and watering cans do not affect it, so players need to plan around its unusual requirements.

Shark Splash is another high-value Summer Event target. It can be expensive and difficult to pursue, but successful harvests can command a significant premium.

Amber Cranberry is also worth collecting because of its strong baseline value. Players who can combine it into a large inventory sale can potentially turn the crop into a major source of event income.

Do Not Forget Guild Rewards

Guilds participating in the Cash Crop Leaderboards have additional goals. The top 25 can earn Mega Rainbow Black Dragon or Black Dragon pets, Rainbow Eggs, and Rainbow Seeds.

Reaching that level generally requires coordinated play and careful inventory management. The Double or Nothing cash-out strategy can be especially important for guilds trying to maximize a final leaderboard result.

Ranks 26 through 1,000 are still worthwhile. Three Legendary Seed Packs, three Gold Seeds, and three Rainbow Seeds can provide a substantial boost to a guild's rare-seed economy without requiring the same level of competition.

Spend According to Your Goal

If you are running out of event time and still missing an important reward, GAG 2 Items for sale can become an alternative for players who value their time and want to complete a particular setup. The important thing is to focus on items that actually improve progression rather than spending simply because an event is ending.

Final Priority List

My overall priority would be Magic Mail first, followed by the Harp whenever it appears, then high-impact pets such as Kitsune and Shadow Dragon. Scarecrow and Jackaloupe should be selected according to your playstyle, while Atlantic Giant Pumpkin, Shark Splash, and Amber Cranberry deserve attention from players focused on income. Once these practical goals are covered, cosmetics and lower-impact collectibles become much easier to justify.
