In Forza Horizon 6, the map is full of hidden spots that are easy to drive past without realizing they’re important. One of the more interesting areas players keep talking about is the Naruo Golf Course. It looks like just another scenic green zone at first, but once you know where to go, it becomes a small hotspot for exploration, treasure hunting, and one of the better early-game rewards.

The Naruo Golf Course is located in the center of the Minamino region, which sits northeast of Tokyo City on the main map of Forza Horizon 6. The area stands out because of its bright green fairways, sand traps, and winding access roads that cut through the surrounding forested terrain. It’s one of those places you can easily miss if you’re just fast traveling between events.

Finding the Naruo Golf Course on the Map

To reach the golf course naturally, open your world map and filter the Minamino region. You’ll notice a large green space with irregular terrain and multiple looping paths—that’s the golf course area.

If you’re driving in from the main road, head through the central Minamino route until you spot a 365 Convenience Store landmark. From there, turn behind the store and follow the smaller road that leads directly into the golf course grounds. The entrance is not heavily marked, so players often pass it without realizing.

For faster access, you can also use nearby race locations like the Airfield Trail Dirt Race or the Naruo Cross Country Circuit. Fast traveling there will place you just a short drive west of the course, making it easy to enter the area quickly.

What Makes Naruo Golf Course Worth Visiting

Unlike standard decorative map areas, Naruo Golf Course hides two useful secrets that make it worth visiting early.

Treasure Hunt Chest in Minamino

The first secret is a hidden treasure chest tied to a regional challenge.

Head toward the northwest section of the golf course. You’ll notice the terrain starts rising slightly on the outer edge of the fairway. At the top of this hill, overlooking the course, there is a bright blue reward crate.

Breaking it completes a weekly-style objective and grants a direct credit reward of 100,000 CR. It’s one of the easiest hidden bonuses to claim if you know the exact spot, and it encourages players to explore beyond the main driving routes.

Hidden Treasure Car: 1969 Dodge Charger R/T

The second secret is even more exciting for collectors. Inside the golf course area, there is a hidden vehicle spawn.

Move toward the center of the course, near the small buildings and water hazards. Just off the main loop road—slightly tucked behind structures—you can find a hidden car waiting in a quiet corner.

The reward is the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, one of the classic muscle cars featured in the game. Once you approach it, the vehicle is automatically unlocked and added to your garage permanently. It’s easy to miss because it blends into the environment, especially if you’re driving too fast through the course.

Why Players Keep Returning Here

What makes Naruo Golf Course interesting is how it blends environmental detail with hidden rewards. It isn’t just a scenic landmark—it’s designed like a mini exploration zone inside the larger world of Forza Horizon 6.

Players often return here for a few reasons:

Quick early-game credit boost from the treasure chest
Easy collectible vehicle unlock
Open terrain ideal for testing handling or drifting
A break from high-speed highway racing

It’s also one of those rare areas where slow driving actually pays off. If you rush through, you’ll likely miss both secrets completely.

The Naruo Golf Course is a good example of how the map rewards curiosity in Forza Horizon 6. It’s not marked as a major event location, but it still hides meaningful rewards for players who take the time to explore.

If you’re working through the Minamino region or just looking for hidden content, this is one spot worth stopping for. The treasure chest and the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T alone make it a worthwhile detour, especially early in your progression.
